In this extended essay I am exploring the contribution that social media activism makes within the boundaries of cyberspace and also how this cyber-activism transfers into action outside of the realms of the internet. I became interested in the both the process of cyber-activism and the contribution that it makes to society after partaking in online campaigns through social media outlets such as Facebook and Twitter.
