In an era where photography has become an integral part of our lives, it is crucial to consider its moral and political importance. The Camera is a powerful tool and photojournalists constantly use this tool to capture moments in time. These images help to tell the story of the subjects and land they are depicting. This essay explores the relationship between the aesthetics and politics of the work of some photojournalists and art photographers working in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. [Abstract]
