The popularity of photography as a practice lends it a privileged position when it is employed as a means of creating proper objects for discussion. The purpose of this essay is to argue for an artistic practice that provokes dialogue as an interruption. Through the medium of photography, it is possible to create records of changes in the evnironment that at first might seem innocuous, but once viewed with respect to scientific discourse become something more remarkable.
