The aim of the essay is to discuss a neologism Vemödalen, - this word comes from the dictionary of obscure sorrows and describes the emotional state of frustration that a photographer encounters when photographing something that has been photographed a thousand times before. it also looks at how the Internet age has contributed to the amount of visual imagery available and how this affects the crisis of originality.
